Women & Worth Summit 2021: Reset. Refresh. Rebuild.

While the pandemic threw the state of the world into chaos, the globe is finally beginning to reopen, allowing us the chance to reset and rebuild. The issues that came to light in 2020—from climate and sustainability to diversity and inclusion—should be made a priority, and we can use this momentum to create scalable change and impact. Join Worth for a half-day summit where we will be exploring how to keep not only the things that matter most at the forefront but also how to take action to help the world build back better.

Key topics include:

  • How to Create Impact as a Female Leader in Male-Dominated Fields
  • The Importance of Investing in the Next Generation
  • Rebuilding With Purpose to Create Inclusive and Equitable Organizations

  • The Importance of Investing in the Next Generation
From mentorship and advocacy to resources and investment, empowering the next generation to be better leaders and members of society is more important than ever. The issues that were brought to light by the pandemic are not going away any time soon, which is why it’s essential that we provide our youth with the tools to create positive social change and prevent them from making the same mistakes of past generations. The future is already here—now is the time to invest in that future.
Speakers: Illana Raia, Dr. Angela Jackson
    Moderator: To Be Announced
  • How Women Are Embracing Digital Transformation to Take Charge of Their Own Health
The COVID-19 pandemic brought the harrowing disparities of our health care system into the spotlight. Despite major technological advances during this time period, which brought us mRNA vaccines and a telehealth boom, the system remains broken—especially for women and people of color. As the fate of Roe v. Wade hangs in the balance and medicine grapples with long-entrenched systemic racism, these women are embracing digital transformation to not only take charge of their own health but also create a more even playing field when it comes to equitable health care for all.
    Speakers: Simmone Taitt, Kalie Zagger
    Moderator: Emily Cegielski
  • How to Create Impact as a Female Leader in Male-Dominated Fields
Women in male-dominated fields already face extra hurdles on their way to the top. So, how do you effect change and create impact once you’ve finally climbed the ladder? Despite often having to face attrition and microaggressions, these three women are not only effective and respected leaders but are also changing the narrative around gender and power, proving that female leaders can bring just as much, if not more, to the table as their male counterparts.
Speakers: Alicia Levine, Dia Simms, Flori Marquez
    Moderator: Micki Wagner
