Fatima Goss Graves

National Women’s Law Center

Goss-Graves worked as an associate for Mayer, Brown, Rower, & Maw from 2002 to 2005, when she joined the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC). There she started as the Vice President for Education and Employment and has since risen to president and CEO.

Why They Made the Worthy 100: NWLC has a decades-long history of protecting women’s rights in the legal system and Goss-Graves is one of its most vocal proponents. In July of 2022, she testified before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform on the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court Dobbs decision which takes away the constitutional right to abortion. She also steered the organization to create the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund (TULDF), which has assisted more than 6,000 women who’ve experienced sexual harassment work.
