Marshall Rowe President, Business Owner Services & Managing Director, Northern New England, The Colony Group Marshall has over 30 years’ experience advising clients, developing portfolio strategies and analyzing investment opportunities, which he brings to his role as President, Business Owner Services & Managing Director, Northern New England, at The Colony Group. He is coauthor of Your Next Adventure:Planning For Life After The Sale Of Your Business and has authored numerous articles and frequently speaks on business transition strategies, as well as family asset allocation strategy, risk management and private foundation portfolio design. Marshall was the founder of Harvest Capital Management prior to merging with The Colony Group in 2019. Previously, he was a principal of Taylor Investments, Inc. and had also served with the venture capital and investment banking firm Hambrecht & Quist and Merrill Lynch. Marshall serves on the Board of Trustees for New Hampshire Public Radio, and as Trustee and Treasurer for the Friends of Amani Children’s Home. He also serves on the Investment Committee for the Endowment for Health Foundation and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Appalachian Mountain Club in Boston. In the past, he was Chair of New Hampshire Public Radio; Chair of the Hopkinton, NH School Board; the Concord Community Music School Board of Trustees;  the Hopkinton NH Public Library Foundation; and Board Treasurer of New Hampshire Public Radio; the New Hampshire Humanities Council; and The Endowment for Health Foundation.

Jim Fitts, CFP® Managing Director, Business Owners Services & Senior Family Wealth Advisor, The Colony Group Jim is an experienced investment professional who consults with families on intergenerational gifting strategies, family wealth education, governance and philanthropy. He has extensive experience in assessing personal and business financial positions and advises family-owned businesses on ownership and management succession. He is coauthor of Your Next Adventure: Planning for Life After the Sale of Your Business. He also speaks at conferences and events about the human and emotional process that many business owners overlook when transitioning out of their businesses. With over 42 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jim provides financial, retirement, estate and charitable gift planning; retirement plan distribution strategies; family business transition planning; investment counseling and portfolio design; education funding; tax planning; insurance assessment; and cash flow and debt management. Jim also provides family counseling and facilitates family meetings, an integral component of The Colony Group’s work. Jim serves as the treasurer of the Mayhew Program, where he also sits on the Executive, Investment, Finance and Audit committees. He is also the treasurer of the Newfound Lake Region Association where he chairs the investment committee. He serves on the investment committee of the Lakes Region Conservation Trust, and also chairs the advisory board of Education For All Children.  Outside of the office, he enjoys photography and is deeply committed to wildlife conservation. Jim is also an equestrian, former competitive triathlete and an instrument-rated pilot. He is a proud father and grandfather.  

John Weeks III, CExP™ Managing Director, Family Wealth & Business Transition Planning, The Colony Group John is a financial services professional with more than 30 years of experience working with business owners and their families. John focuses on developing new business opportunities, working with other professional advisors to identify those who may benefit from The Colony Group’s capabilities and expertise. He also works directly with clients and their advisor team to define goals, create appropriate strategies, and ensure all are working together toward achieving those goals. He is also coauthor of Your Next Adventure: Planning for Life After the Sale of Your Business. John currently serves on the Statewide Board of The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and is the organization’s Treasurer. He previously served on the boards of The Nature Conservancy of NH, NH Business Committee for the Arts (past Chair), Elliot Health Systems, the New Hampshire Humanities Council (past Chair), Junior Achievement of NH (past Chair), the Corporate Fund of the NH Charitable Foundation (past Chair) and on the Advisory Council of the Currier Museum of Art. Outside of the office, he loves to travel with family and friends, plays golf and tennis and enjoys skiing. On his list of all-time favorite books is The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien: “My generation’s Harry Potter series.” He has been married to Gail for more than 30 years, and they have three sons.

Juliet Scott-Croxford CEO, Worth Juliet currently serves as CEO for media brand Worth, responsible for leading its transformation from a print magazine to a content platform that focuses on 'Worth beyond Wealth' and inspires and informs an affluent, influential and successful community of individuals to be their best selves. Juliet began her career as a management consultant, learning to code at IBM Business Consulting Services, before focusing on business strategy and organizational change, working with clients to solve complex business problems across a variety of sectors through the use of technology. Her experience in this area took her to a role at Boxwood (now KPMG) where she worked as a senior consultant in strategy and business change, with a focus on the media and technology sector. After working as a consultant with Guardian News & Media on its print to digital strategy, in 2012 she was confirmed in a permanent role to lead strategy and operations for the Guardian Media Group's commercial division based in London. Juliet joined the Guardian’s executive committee in 2015 and, as chief delivery officer; was responsible for the strategic implementation of the global three year turnaround plan and subsequent transformation and growth for the Guardian’s US operation, relocating to New York in 2016. She lives in Westchester with her husband and son, is a keen runner, yogi, and skier.
