The male-dominant crypto industry gained a force to be reckoned with this year. Robinhood appointed industry veteran Christine Brown as its chief operating officer to oversee its crypto operations. Brown will be one of the few women in the industry yielding immense influence on the crypto landscape by building new innovative products and leading the company through a pivotal growth strategy. She told Worth that in 2022, her main focus at Robinhood will be about “finding new ways for us to break down the emotional, educational and economic barriers that currently exist in crypto, so that we can ensure the future of our financial system is as inclusive as it is open.”
