Susi Burke

Susi Burke’s personal mission is to shine a light on people, organizations and systems that promote diversity of thought and opportunity for all, in order to have a positive, meaningful impact on the world. She is excited to spend a lifetime learning, growing and tackling new challenges. After 30+ years in the tech industry, name a tech job and Susi has probably done it—from software engineer to lead architect to director of product. She has a passion for advancing diversity in tech, believing that more diversity in thought will lead to better products, more opportunity for underserved populations and, in short, a better world. She contributes to that cause by mentoring individuals pursuing careers in STEM, participating in middle school STEM outreach, volunteering at all-female hackathons, as well as speaking and writing about leadership and life skills for STEM organizations that help underrepresented groups. Susi is Chief Impact Officer and Strategic Advisor at Phin. Phin exists to be a force for positive change by providing simple solutions for companies that help them to incorporate purpose into their DNA. These solutions allow companies to create lasting, meaningful relationships with their employees, customers and communities. As Chief Impact Officer, Susi advocates for Phin’s social causes and helps that community create the maximum impact. She also works closely with other social good startups and nonprofits as board member, tech advisor, operational consultant and product strategist, including Kikori, an ed-tech company that puts the heart and fun in education through experiential ed.
