Emily Cegielski Editorial Director, Worth Media Emily Cegielski is an award-winning multimedia journalist and editor based in New York City, currently serving as the Editorial Director at Worth Media. Prior to joining the Worth team, she worked as a Senior Editor at the New York Observer, where she built out its Business, Tech and Innovation vertical—refining beats, recruiting expert contributors and leading a team of staff reporters and freelancers. Previously, she worked as Director of Digital Media at High Times, where she drove creation of cannabis-related stories; programmed content; managed social media; planned and executed marketing campaigns for High Times events; covered breaking news; edited content; and led a site redesign. In the past, she has worked as a staff writer, photographer, designer, copy editor, fact-checker, section editor, managing editor and senior editor for a wide array of newspapers, magazines and websites.

Amy Wu Founder & Chief Content Director, From Farms to Incubators

Amy Wu is an award-winning writer for the women’s ag and agtech movement.

She is the Creator & Chief Content Director of From Farms to Incubators, a multimedia platform that uses documentary, video, photography and the written word to tell the stories of women leaders and innovators in agtech. It has a mission of highlighting women in food, farming, and farmtech, especially women of color. In 2020 Amy was named on Worth magazine’s “Groundbreakers 2020 list of 50 Women Changing the World” list. She was also a recipient of the Women in Agribusiness Demeter Award of Excellence.

Prior to starting From Farms to Incubators, Amy spent over two decades as an investigative reporter at media outlets including the USA Today Network where she reported on agriculture and agtech for The Salinas Californian.

In 2020, she made Worth’s “Groundbreakers 2020: 50 Women Changing the World” list.

In 2021 she was named by Food Tank as one of “27 Inspiring Women Reshaping the Food System."

Micki Wagner Senior Editor, Worth Media Micki Wagner is a New York City-based writer and editor exploring food, fashion, and female empowerment in her work. She specializes in digital media and content creation & production. Before coming to Worth, she worked as a social media producer for American Media, Inc., as a department editor for Vox Magazine and as a contributing writer for HerCampus and MyTherapistSays. A St. Louis native, Micki attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she received a Bachelors of Journalism in Arts & Culture Magazine Journalism and an Associates in Ancient Mediterranean Studies.
