Robyn Russell

Robyn is the Senior Director of the Gender Diverse Investing Collective being incubated at the Tara Health Foundation. The Gender Diverse Investing Collective builds on evidence showing gender-diverse teams outperform and aims to build a movement to change the face of finance with the goal of having 33% of assets managed by gender-diverse teams by 2033. Robyn began her career on Capitol Hill working as Legislative Director for a Congressman from Chicago who sat on the Appropriations Committee. She left the Hill to work at the United Nations Foundation where she helped lead a multi-million-dollar pooled fund to advocate for international women’s health and rights. While at the UN Foundation, Robyn stood up and led a private sector initiative where she worked with global corporations, from Unilever to Nordstrom, to make time-bound measurable commitments to invest in the health and well-being of women workers in their global supply chains. Robyn also wrote a report about how to reduce maternal mortality and improve health outcomes for low-income women of color in the District of Columbia that was featured in the Washington Post. Robyn holds a Master’s of Applied Science in Population Health Management at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s degree in Government from Johns Hopkins University.
