Pritpal Singh is the General Manager for Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, Ga. With Singh at the helm, Perry Lane Hotel has won numerous accolades, including Marriott International’s “Best Opening Hotel of 2018”, Travel + Leisure’s 2019 “it List”- The Best New Hotels in the World. Singh himself was named General Manager of the Year in 2019 by Georgia Hospitality and Lodging Association.
Prior to joining Perry Lane Hotel, Singh was with Loews Hotels and Resorts serving as General Manager of Hotel 1000 in Seattle, Wa. He was accountable for conceptualizing the multimillion-dollar renovation and repositioning the hotel in the Seattle market. His dexterity in hotel and resort management helped him successfully lead the teams in project planning and hotel pre-openings and transitions.
Singh oversaw the property wide renovation of Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ and seamlessly transitioned the Loews Regency San Francisco Hotel from the Mandarin Oriental. He has also served as Hotel Manager at Hawks Cay Resort, where among many accomplishments, he significantly increased profitability. In addition, Singh spent over a decade with Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Centre holding various executive positions.
Singh holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, a post graduate diploma in Hotel Management from the IHTTI School of Hotel Management in Neuchatel, Switzerland.
Singh currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Visit Savannah, one of the top DMA’s in the country. He is an outdoor and cycling enthusiast and resides in Richmond Hill, Ga. with his wife and 2 children.
