Maureen Hackett is Head of Personal Lines for General Insurance of AIG. She is responsible for the profit and loss of a $6 billion global portfolio, spanning standard home and auto products to the Ultra High Net Worth product suite (Home, Collections, Personal Excess, Auto, Watercraft and ancillary lines).
Maureen first joined AIG in 1999 as part of the executive team charged with launching AIG’s entry into the high net worth segment known as Private Client Group and held various management and leadership positions until transitioning to the Personal Lines global team as Head of Property in 2011. She was appointed the Head of the Individual Segment (now Head of Personal Lines) in April 2015. Maureen started her insurance career at Chubb Insurance in Personal Insurance followed by underwriting and management roles at Employers Reinsurance before joining AIG.
Maureen sits on the Board of Directors for AIG Israel and AIG Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
