Margaret Brown

Margaret Brown, MS is VP, Community Partnership Development at Blue Zones LLC.
Over the last five years, Margaret has worked in close partnership with communities across the US to implement Blue Zones Projects. Prior to joining Blue Zones, Margaret spent more than 10 years working directly with community coalitions, federally qualified health centers, public health, and health systems to develop and implement community-based health improvement strategies. She has worked with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Dartmouth College, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Margaret is passionate about empowering communities and individuals to take ownership of their health and creating cross-sector partnerships and exploring funding options that make that possible. Margaret holds a Masters of Science in healthcare leadership from Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Francis Marion University.
