Managing Director, Turnbull & Asser, Turnbull & Asser

Jonathan joined British shirtmaker and Royal Warrant holder, Turnbull & Asser, in 2016. As managing director, Jonathan has successfully developed and implemented the three-year strategic plan for the heritage brand, putting in place solid foundations for sustainable growth. Jonathan’s knowledge and experience, both operationally and from a merchandising perspective, has been critical to the business.

Jonathan began his career at Paul Smith, rising through the ranks to the position of international sales manager for menswear. In 2005, he relocated to New York as general manager for North America. He returned to London in 2009 as global head of wholesale and franchise.

Looking to broaden his experience, Jonathan joined No. 14 Savile Row, a private equity start-up, in 2012 with a brief to modernise heritage Savile Row brands. The firm owned and operated Hardy Amies, Kilgour, Norman Hartnell and Bernard Weatherill. He initially joined as sales director and was promoted to the position of chief operating officer in 2014.

Jonathan lives in West Sussex with his wife and their two children.
