Chris Brummer is the Agnes N. Williams Research Professor and Director of Georgetown University’s Institute of International Economic Law. Professor Brummer has taught at several leading universities as a visiting professor including the universities of Basel, Heidelberg, and the London School of Economics.  He also recently concluded a three year term as a member of FINRA’s National Adjudicatory Council, where his work was praised as making a significant contribution to advancing investor protection. Â
Professor Brummer is the founder of Washington DC’s Fintech Week (dcfintechweek.org), an annual event with regulators and market participants, and routinely provides financial regulatory analysis for nonprofits, financial institutions, international standard setters and legislative bodies around the world.
