Ben Tritt is an artist and entrepreneur, born in New York City in 1972. Settling in Israel in 1996, he co-founded the Jerusalem Studio School, while guest lecturing at the Slade School of Art in London and Bar Ilan University, Tel Aviv. He subsequently established the Goliath Institute of Art in New York where he taught until 2010. Tritt‘s additional teaching experience includes courses at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Gallery in London and many other institutions.
As a painter, Ben has exhibited throughout France, Israel and the US, including Haim Chanin gallery, Salander O’Reilly galleries and David Krut Projects in New York. He has also installed large-scale public projects in Israel, Paris, Nice and New York City.
In recent years, Ben taught at MIT, leading to the creation of his company, Artmatr (Artmatr.co), where he currently acts as CEO. Artmatr is pioneering a new printing system for visual artists. Working in collaboration with leading artists and developers, Artmatr is preparing to bring a product to market by the end of 2021.
