Jeff Gitterman is a co-founding partner of Gitterman Wealth Management, LLC, and a thought leader in the field of Sustainable, Impact, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Investing.
He is the creator of his firm’s SMART (Sustainability Metrics Applied to Risk Tolerance)® Investing Services, which offer investment opportunities for individual clients, as well as research and investing services for other financial professionals in the Sustainable, ESG, and Impact arenas.
Noted as an “ESG expert” by Financial Advisor magazine, Jeff has also been featured in the past in Money Magazine, Barron’s, Morningstar Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, and Affluent Magazine, among many others. He also speaks frequently about Sustainable, Impact, and ESG Investing at conferences throughout the US, including Morningstar, Fidelity, Barron’s, Financial Advisor Magazine, Bloomberg, and many others. In 2018, he was named RIA “Thought Leader of the Year” by WealthManagement.com.
Over the past several years, Gitterman Wealth Management has also hosted several large sustainable investing conferences for financial advisors in New York City, with the 2019 and 2018 conferences taking place at the United Nations Headquarters. Jeff deeply believes that the migration of investor capital towards more Sustainable, Impact, and ESG investments is one of, if not the most effective way to help realize the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and he is committed to helping both investors and other financial professionals navigate the rapidly growing Sustainable, Impact, and ESG Investing landscape.
He is also the author of Beyond Success: Redefining the Meaning of Prosperity, and an Associate Producer of the feature documentary film, Planetary. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Child Health Institute of New Jersey at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical and dedicates much of his free time to raising funds and awareness for the autism community.

Maureen Kline is a corporate executive with a well-rounded background in international public affairs, sustainability, compliance, diversity, equity & inclusion, journalism and communications. She is a board member of Pirelli North America Inc. and a member of the company’s pension benefits committee. She currently chairs the board of the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada, and leads the Sustainability Task Force of the US Tire Manufacturers Association. She is on the Corporate Responsibility Steering Committee of the Detroit-based Automotive Industry Action Group, and the Standards Advisory Group of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). At the Public Affairs Council, she is a board member and chairs the CSR Network.
In the past Maureen was a Wall Street Journal Europe correspondent covering Italy, and she is currently a columnist for Inc.com writing on the topic of sustainability. She is an adjunct instructor with Clarkson University, teaching Enterprise Sustainability to engineering professionals in the MSEM program.
Originally from Washington DC, Maureen lived in Italy for many years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics. She is an alumna of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. Maureen is a co-chair of the board of Yale Blue Green, the network for Yale alumni interested in environmental and sustainability topics.

James Ledbetter is the Chief Content Officer of Clarim Media as well as the editor and publisher of FIN, an e-mail newsletter devoted to fintech. He is the former editor-in-chief of Inc. magazine and Inc.com, and former Head of Content at Sequoia Capital. He has also worked on staff at Slate, Reuters, TIME, and The Village Voice. He is the author or editor of six books including, most recently, One Nation Under Gold: How One Precious Metal Has Dominated the American Imagination for Four Centuries. His writing on politics, business and media has been published in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Quartz, The American Prospect, The Industry Standard, Mother Jones, The Nation, The New Republic and dozens of other publications. He lives in New York City with his wife and son.
