Craig Jonas, Ph.D Founder & CEO, CoPeace PBC Craig is a lifelong entrepreneur with a history of success across the fields of business, academics, and athletics. He has over 30 years of experience in management with a passion for team-building and drawing individuals with big ideas together. Craig founded CoPeace in 2018, put together a highly-talented team and board, and quickly helped CoPeace achieve Certified B Corp. and Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) status. He launched CoPeace’s holding company with strong initial investments in sustainable infrastructure and impact-related services. In order to democratize access to the equity game, Craig spurred the creation of a successful crowdfunding investment vehicle. He has been featured in Forbes, Worth, Triple Pundit and numerous other publications and outlets and is a frequent guest on investing-related podcasts. Previously, Craig served as vice president for business development for the broadcast media technology firm, Sportvision, best known for bringing revolutionary visual enhancements to live sports broadcasts, including American football’s yellow first-down line and baseball’s strike zone. Craig earned his doctorate in conflict management from the University of Kansas, where he also taught leadership, marketing, and management courses. Craig earned a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College in Minnesota, and completed a masters degree at Colorado State University.

Stephen Weinstein Chairman, Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences Stephen is a financial services and insurance executive and attorney with an extensive background in mitigation and resilience, innovation, strategy, governance, and transactions. He currently serves as the Chair of the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS), an independent U.S. non-profit scientific research and educational organization, and Itasca Re, a Bermuda domiciled specialty reinsurer. From 2002 until 2021 he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (RNR: NYSE). During his time with RenaissanceRe, Stephen served as served as a member of firm’s Executive Committee, and as Chair of the RenaissanceRe Risk Sciences Foundation, the company’s charitable vehicle committed to researching and developing risk-mitigation techniques and communicating risk awareness, including via the award-winning Risk Mitigation Leadership Forum series. Stephen serves on the boards of several industry and charitable groups including the R Street Institute, a leading US non partisan policy organization; the Bermuda Business Development Agency, a public-private partnership between the Bermuda Government and the private sector helping lead Bermuda’s engagement on, among other things, cleantech, fintech, insuretech and climate finance economic development; and the President’s Advisory Counsel for the National Wildlife Federation, America’s largest non-profit conservation organization. He previously served as Chair of the Reinsurance Association of American Extreme Events Committee, as Chair of the Policy Committee of the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers, as lead associate of the Global Reinsurance Forum, and on Bermuda’s COVID-19 Economic Advisory Committee. Stephen is a graduate of Columbia College, NY, and Harvard Law School. He is a frequent speaker on insurance industry, financial sector, climate and resiliency, and governance issues.

Tom Polton Managing Director, NV Sustainability LLC Tom is an Associate of Leaders' Quest based in New York. During his 36 years at Pfizer, Tom launched and led numerous global Environmental Health and Safety programs focusing on process safety, occupational health and safety, product stewardship, and environmental sustainability. Since leaving Pfizer, he serves as an adjunct professor to Clarkson University graduate students and a lecturer at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. In addition, Tom mentors Posse Foundation Scholars and chairs the Education Committee for his local chapter of the Climate Reality Project. Tom has traveled to 49 countries and seeks new places to explore in the upcoming years.

Fany Bortolin Founder & CEO of Jacaranda Capital Fany founded Acorn Accounting in 2011, a boutique financial services firm serving organic and transitioning farmers in the Midwest. She later became a consultant for larger organizations serving regenerative agriculture at a larger scale. Her later project, Jacaranda Capital, includes the development of innovative financial vehicles that ultimately enable the scaling of regenerative agriculture, restore climate health, and heal deteriorated social, economic, and ecological systems. Fany has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and financial management, a bachelor’s in social psychology, speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian, and is a certified yoga teacher and humble, curious, life-long learner. She lives in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
