She is the founder and CEO of City Shoppe, a values-based marketplace that enables people to shop locally, from wherever they are. Highlighting BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and woman-owned business owners from major cities across America, Ash is focused on servicing conscious consumers and helping small business owners thrive in the digital era of commerce.
Prior to City Shoppe, Ash served as the VP of Operations for Sustainable Restaurant Group and was one of the earliest members of the Ace Hotel Group’s management team. She is also the founder of Kosha, an eco-friendly yoga supply company that she started in 2011 while studying at UCLA. Kosha creates performance-based yoga products using recycled materials.
Ash earned her BA from UCLA with a major in women’s studies and minors in business, politics and LGBTQ+ studies. Ash has travelled to 14 countries, lived in eight states and visited 45 of the 50 that make up America. She’s a certified scuba diver, marathon runner and yoga enthusiast. In her downtime, you can find her travelling (when able) or enjoying the Southern hospitality the local shops and restaurants in her home state of Texas have to offer.
