CurtCo Med Names Randi Schatz as Vice President - Publisher of Worth Magazine

NEW YORK (January 7, 2004) – CurtCo Media today announced the appointment of Randi Schatz to the position of Vice President, Publisher of Worth, the nation’s only consumer magazine dedicated to the issues of wealth management, wealth preservation and wealth transference.

Ms. Schatz, a domestic and international media industry expert for 20 years, joins CurtCo from New York-based Meritainment, where she held the titles of president and chief operating officer. 

Previously, Ms. Schatz was vice president and publisher at Primedia Inc. of Cable World magazine, Kagan World Media, Simba Information and PRISM. 

Earlier, Ms. Schatz spent 13 years at Reed-Elsevier, a world leader in business-to-business media, where she was responsible for launching and overseeing the operations of five leading industry publications: Multichannel News International, Television International, Television Europe, Television Latin America, and Television Asia. 

Ms. Schatz holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from George Washington University, and is a board member of American Women in Radio and Television and Honorary Chair of Cable Positive.
