Josef Hoffmann: An avant-garde

functionality came to epitomize the Wiener Werkstätte aesthetic.
Koloman
Moser: An avant-garde artist-designer who cofounded the Wiener Werkstätte in
1903 along with Josef Hoffmann, and who, like Hoffmann, was skilled in a variety
of media.
Dagobert Peche: A designer of furniture, jewelry, metalwork, glass,
ceramics, textiles and wallpaper whose playful, neo-Baroque designs brought a
new freshness to the Wiener Werkstätte aesthetic after World War I.
Berthold
Loffler: A graphic designer also noted for his jewelry and ceramics who, with
Michael Powolny, cofounded the Wiener Keramik (Vienna Ceramic) workshops in
1906.
Vally Wieselthier: A postwar ceramicist whose creations span the
boundaries between utility and fine art sculpture.
Otto Prutscher: Designed
glass, fabric, bookbindings, leatherwork, furniture, silver and metalwork
for the Wiener Werkstätte, but also worked under license for other
