Seniors Surf Financial Websites
01/21/2008

When affluent senior citizens go online, they are far more likely to surf financial websites than are their younger counterparts, according to a survey by Spectrem Group. The study found that people with investable assets of at least $500,000 and who were older than 70 spent 32 percent of their online time looking at such sites, compared with only 13 percent of those 70 or younger. Senior citizens with annual incomes of more than $150,000 spent 49 percent of their online time on financial pursuits.
