The United Kingdom is the best country for entrepreneurs seeking to raise money, according to the 2005 Milken Institute Capital Access Index. The Institute says its index, compiled since 1998, is a comprehensive analysis of the breadth, depth and vitality of capital markets around the world. Hong Kong, last year’s number one, dropped to second this year, followed by Singapore and the United States. For more information, see www.milkeninstitute.org.
